Angie Michail is a licensed architect who received her Master of Architecture from the University of Waterloo and has more than 15 years of professional experience. Since joining LGA in 2012, she has been Project Architect on several child care, JK-12 and postsecondary projects, and has managed new construction and renovation projects on residences ranging from single-family homes to large, multi-unit buildings. Convinced that good design improves both the functionality of space and the experience of place, she strives to create environments with clean lines, meticulous detailing, and responsiveness to the client’s aspirations, even on the most challenging of construction budgets. Currently a Sessional Instructor at the OCAD University’s Faculty of Environmental Design, Angie previously taught in the architecture program at the University of Toronto and been a guest critic at the University of Waterloo and Ryerson University. Her current projects at LGA include a new, 500-student school for Toronto Catholic District School Board, a synagogue renovation and addition, and a major expansion to an award-winning affordable housing complex.
