Elly joined LGA in 2017 as a student and returned in 2019 as an Intern Architect upon completing her Master of Architecture degree at the University of Toronto. Her thesis explored fidelity in architectural representation, sited in Verona, Italy, where she worked in 2018. Research for her thesis involved experimentation in printmaking, filmmaking, and exhibition design – all of which she continues to pursue in her personal art practice. With professional experience encompassing heritage preservation, digital fabrication, museological archival research, and large-scale commercial developments, Elly approaches each new project with a unique perspective. She brings an interest in human-centric design principles and a passion for meticulous drawing and representation to the cultural and residential projects she is now working on at LGA.
