To Natalia, architecture and advocacy are inseparable. When she was working toward her Bachelors’ degree in her native Russia, her thesis subject was mosque design that would simultaneously respect Islamic tradition and empower female congregants. For her Masters’ degree, which she received in 2018 from the University of Waterloo, her thesis investigated how the integrated design and programming of a shelter for women fleeing domestic violence could have a positive impact on residents’ recovery.

Natalia is a highly organized professional whose background includes work in a Moscow office specializing in high-end office projects, and experience with CS&P Architects Inc. in Toronto. Project Management was her area of specialty in her Certificate in Architecture from Ryerson University. Natalia also gained CAD technician experience with the Toronto industrial design firm Stacklab, and conducted accessibility-related Standards and Compliance data collection and analysis for Toronto District School Board.

At LGA, Natalia is the contract administrator for the Stackt Container Market and she is on the design team for the renovation of Toronto Public Library’s Albert Campbell Branch.
